A Favorite Picture of Army Worship

Here is one of my all-time favorite pictures of Salvation Army worship. I know personally that this person can "worship up a storm!"

We use this picture every SonDay as a PowerPoint slide during our season of prayer.

Here's a fun little quiz:

1) Who is this person?

2) When was it taken (rough date)?

3) Where was it taken (be specific, not just the city)?

4) What was the film speed set at (just kidding!)?

5)
What... is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow (Bwahahaha!)?

1.) Captain Stephen Court
2.) Fall 2003 (during the Death and Glory Session of War College)
3.)the Lore Krill Co-op in the fellowship room (with floor to ceiling windows on the street side - lotsa folks came in!) Cordova Street, Vancouver Canada at a 614 Corporate Worship Gathering
I remember this day clearly - Danielle was preaching from Psalm 48, about Zion and what it would be like to walk about Zion, and so we acted it out, gates that praised constantly, and inhabitants that fell down in worship over and over...that was Stephen's part. We did listening prayer as a corporate body - about 50 of us - and that's the day (I think) that Melinda came into our fold. Wow...a lot in a picture...a beautiful memory. It's nice to think that all of that worship and prayer is still rising before God like sweet-selling incense. A pleasing thought!

So much for any guessing! Sounds like this just might be one of YOUR favorite pics too, Heather!

But apparently I stumped you on the last question, huh?

That last question was unfair you have to let us know is it a Afircan or European swallow. That is crucial, but the average cruising airspeed velocity of an unladen European Swallow is roughly 11 meters per second, or 24 miles an hour. Do I win?? Now let me ask you, What is the capital of Assyria?

Shucks, if only I beat 614:firecrest to the challenge, ha!
Although I don't think I would have hit on so much detail..
H, did you pull out your notes for this one, : )
Love ya dad.
