World traveler

Yesterday I went to a circus, a horse race, the dock of a bay and finally a Pirate's Galleon! Sound like I'm traveling around the world? Actually, it's much more fun than traveling- these are the places Jesus is taking people (in their imaginations) to show them things about their life and his concern for them. I'm just along for the ride! And what a fantastic ride it's been! I can hardly wait until we start praying again today!

Here are some excerpts:

One person was taking suitcases of junk off their backs and giving them to Jesus. Then Jesus was tossing them (with glee!) into the ocean at their feet. He even threw one very dark suitcase a long ways out to make a point (we got it!). Talk about freedom! And you should have seen Jesus' swimsuit!

One person was in a horse race, but was the only one running- sounds like you have no choice but to win! The cool part was that Jesus was running right along side of them! Then he gave them their very own Shield of Faith! I want one! Oh, that's right, I've already got one!

One person saw their own private circus where Jesus was a Lion (sound familiar?) jumping thru hoops to pursue their family and catch them. They've been praying for their family to come to Jesus. Sounds like that's just what Jesus wants too!

Another had an interesting visit to a huge sailing galleon where Jesus was steering the ship. They were standing on the bow in the wind (I asked if Leonardo DiCaprio was there! He wasn't). Then Jesus began showing them around the ship. There were some interesting visuals for them to learn- like the gangplank- where they could push off anything that didn't belong in their life. I love the thought of making The Enemy walk the plank! They were even given a new pirate's sword to use and take care of! Swashbuckling adventure, that!

What we are all learning (without a shadow of a doubt), is that wherever you are, Jesus is always there with you. We don't always think to look for him and he's not always obvious, but nevertheless, he is always there. If we ever feel alone, all we have to do is settle down long enough to find where Jesus is and listen to what he has for us right then. It's a powerful lesson to learn. Makes a difference when you get it down pat.

So it's off on more excursions again today. I just love being a world traveler!

I wonder if I could get air miles for this?
